Treat yourself.. You know you want to!

So with Christmas just around the corner (yes that's going to be mentioned a lot, I'm a kid when it comes to Christmas time, especially now I have one!) the discounts are in full swing online.
I know you're probably all really busy with buying your friends and families presents and might not have any money to spare, but if you're anything like me, when you see that big 'Sale' or 'Up to such and such % off' you need to go check it out.
I've been getting emails left right and centre from lots of different clothing sites luring me to their savings and here are my top five including some peaks at what's on offer!

River Island.
Up to 20% off all jewellery.
Starting with the smaller of the discounts (but by no means to be overlooked) is the River Island up to 20% off all jewellery. The necklace was originally £7 down to £5.60. A small saving, but every little helps! I love this necklace, and as I'm not a fan of those huge statement necklaces, I still like to have a bit of sparkle (what girl doesn't?) and this necklace is so pretty! The earrings were £3 reduced to £2.40, which yes, I know isn't the biggest of savings, but they're so dainty and would just add something extra to your outfit.

Asos
up to 30% off party wear
As you can probably guess, the majority of the sales and discounts floating about lately are for party wear, which makes sense with the all important New Year's Eve parties creeping up on us. I thought I'd pick two items that could actually be a whole outfit. The playsuit by Little Mistress was £48 reduced to £38, giving a pretty good saving. I love the fact it has sleeves, I will never understand those girls who go out in the dead of winter with barely nothing on and no coat or jacket! Although it's pretty plain and black, the little embellishment on the shoulder gives it a little sparkle. The heels by Blink were £55 reduced to £28. I like the subtle silver floral design on the heels which I'm assuming would look great when they catch the light.

Topshop
up to 30% off party wear and jersey basics
Again another party wear discount to the same amount as Asos. They didn't have much in the way of dresses in the party wear section which I thought was a little strange, maybe I'm just more of a fan of dresses for parties.. Anyway, I found this lovely pair of blue embellished side shorts with sort of a chiffon overlay. They were £45 now £30 so quite a good saving, although to me £30 on one pair of shorts is a bit much. The one dress I did like was this lovely blush lace floral dress. It is sort of a spring dress, but pastel colours are still in for winter, so why not? It was £49 reduced to £32 so not bad really!
The other savings they're offering is on jersey basics. There wasn't much I was all too fond of, but I did like this burgundy long sleeved top which was already a good price of £18 reduced to an even better £12! I'm always on the lookout for thinner jumper type layers to wear over vest tops and I love this! The dress is also quite plain, and some of you may be thinking that it is way too cold to be wearing in this weather, but with a leather jacket a thick scarf, tights and some ankle boots, you'd be just as warm as in leggings! It was £12 now only £8 so I think I may have to look out for this on sunday.

 New Look
up to 25% off coats and boots
I always love New Look's boots, so when they have sales on them I have to check them out. This pair of grey, low wedge lace-up boots are pretty similar to a pair of black wedges I bought last year and are so so comfortable my mum's bought me a brown pair for Christmas this year! This particular pair was £24.99 reduced to £18.74 which is pretty good for shoes these days! The over the knee boots are similar to a pair of Kelly Brook boots that my friend fell in love with a couple months back, but with a chunkier heel. They were £39.99 reduced to £29.99 so still a bit pricey, but I'm sure they'd be worth it!
The Leather biker jacket rears it's head again! Even though I have one, I still find myself lusting over pretty much every one I see online.. I don't know why. This one was £39.99 down to £29.99 which is really cheap even for a leather-look! The navy toggle coat is another that's not usually my style, but caught my eye. I'm happy with both my coats, I have the short leather jacket one and a longer one, so I won't start hoarding them, but if I hand't already bought my long black mac then I'd probably be getting this coat. It was £34.99 reduced to £26.24.

Miss Selfridge
up to 30% off everything!
Ah Miss selfridge you have to stop doing this to me! I love all three of these items and if the majority of my bank balance wasn't spent on Christmas presents in Leicester yesterday, they'd already be on their way to me! The Distressed dark wash jeans are down to only £26 from £38, I don't know what it is about ripped jeans, I've always loved them ever since that pair that Peyton used to live in on One Tree Hill caught my eye. The beautiful embellished cami top is £28.80 reduced from £32. It's not the biggest saving, and being the most expensive of the three, naturally I want it the most. If I try it on in-store and fall in love with it, maybe I can figure out a way to not feel guilty about buying it! The floral scarf  is only £11.20 reduced from £16! I did actually see this online about a week ago and I'm always funny about buying scarves online due to not knowing how big they'll be. I bought a scarf from internacionale a while back and it was so tiny I couldn't even tie it round my neck! Despite this, I did actually see it in-store yesterday and it's perfect! I did ponder over it for a good five minutes… maybe on sunday?

I'm going to stop rambling now before I talk myself into placing an order online!
Have you found any other great savings online lately? Let me know :)

Wrapping up for Guy Fawkes

Little bit late for a bonfire night outfit update but it's still a great look for autumn. So, as I mentioned yesterday I've been shopping! It's quite rare I actually find something I really really want while out at the physical shops. I'm definitely more of an online shopper, especially when it comes to sales. How anyone can find their sizes in one of those jumbled up, unorganised sale racks is beyond me!

Anywho, I found these amazing pair of acid wash leggings in New Look (you probably already had guessed this, seeing as I practically get all my clothes there) for only £14.99! They do a blue pair as well, but I thought I'd mix it up a little as all my bottoms are blue of some shade. They are so so comfy and go great with pretty much everything, especially my leather jacket :).
The vest top is also from New Look and can be seen better in my Back to Basics post I did a few weeks ago. I got the jumper/top thing from Internacionale last year, but they're always doing stuff like this so keep an eye out if you like it! The necklace is from Forever 21, (it's a little bird paired with a pink rose and a golden birdcage) but that was bought back in June so they don't sell it anymore but here's an alternative - Dove necklace. The hat is really old, but the Beret style is something I see every year so it's been a great investment piece and looks great with curly hair for a real 'autumny' look.

This outfit is actually what I wore on Tuesday night when I went to go watch the fireworks in town with my brother and his partner, paired with the coat and wellies. I got the coat in the sale from Internacionale. It was £34.99 reduced down to only £17.99! So is a pretty good bargain if you ask me. The coat itself is quite thin, but worn with a jumper underneath it will definitely see me through the winter. The only thing I'm not a fan of is the fact that it looks a little creased and it's not the type of material that you can iron. That's my OCD acting up again I think! The wellies were bought during festival season in the Summer from Primark, I think they were £12? They're as comfy as wellies get really, so in other words not very, but they've got to be better than wearing Uggs in the snow! Cannot deal with soaked through socks again this year.

Tayla had a great birthday yesterday and got pretty spoilt! Will try and sneak a little post in at some point over the weekend, I'm attempting to dye my hair black again, want to get the random blonde bits out of my hair that keep somehow creeping through. Have a great few days!
XO.

Back to basics.

Hey everyone, I don't know about you lot, but I've certainly been enjoying this last little bout of sun we've been having the past week! But, we all know it's not going to last, and considering the size of the bee that just crashed into my window, I won't be too sad to see all the little creepy crawlies fly off somewhere else. I love the autumn, all the coats and jumpers (I will being doing a jumpers A/W edit, been a little busy this week so apologies!), but of course, you still need an under layer and I hate being all hot and sweaty underneath a big coat. So I thought I'd show you a few little snaps of some basics I've been buying the last couple of weeks.

First up is the vest tops, again I apologise for the blurriness, apparently my phone camera is actually better mega pixels wise than my Sony! These are actually two different coloured vest tops, one dark green and one black, both from New Look. That link actually sends you to the online exclusive offer of the both for £6.99 but they are £3.99 each in store (which is where I got them). I also have a light pink and a couple other colours from this range, just because they are pretty cheap and great for when I want to just throw on something quick to go to the shops or to lazy around.

Swing tops are huge at the moment, so are swing dresses, but I think they might just be a little too cold for the upcoming months (despite the fact I adore this oversized swing dress from Missguided maybe with a leather jacket, some suspender looking tights and boots? Might have to buy it and see!). Anyway I seem to be loving a bit of chiffon at the moment and purchased the pink top from F&F at Tesco for only £8! It comes in a range of eight different colours and it's so comfortable and light. Again would look great with a leather jacket (going to have to invest in a new one as I just sold my old one due to it now being too big). These leggings from New look are my most worn item in my whole wardrobe and I've had them ages but you can get a similar pair on the New Look website. This red swing top and high waisted jeans are both from Boohoo.com who currently have a 20% student discount (not sure when it ends so grab while you can!). I am so happy with these jeans as they are the first pair of jeans I've bought since having Tayla that actually fit so comfortably without falling down or being too tight and they were only £12, so thumbs up to Boohoo on that one!

Jumper time; both are from Primark for the miraculous price of £6 each! I hardly ever go into Primark, as I hate that everybody seems to have the same clothes all the time (hence why I shop online a lot) but these caught my eye. I'd been looking for a couple of light jumpers and these are both quite baggy and loose fitting so they are perfect for lounging around and also for a bit of cover as it gets colder. I love the marl effect on both of them but the grey one is my favourite due to the lace detailing on the shoulders. It is quite an oversized jumper so I'd recommend getting the size down from your normal size just because of length. I also bought a blue vest top from primark for only £2.50 but didn't photograph it as it seems to have disappeared in my jungle of a room..

There's my little cluster of basics for now, I'm sure to buy more when I next go up town, they never go out of style, especially the vest tops!
Hope everyone has had a great weekend xo.
